Gary C. Comer Public Swimming Pool
The Gary C. Comer Pool (formerly Dodgeville City Pool) was built in 1988. It has 2 pools; the main pool has a 14ft. deep end with 2 diving boards,
lap lane, 2ft. shallow end with stair entry and a hydraulic chair lift for those who assistance in and out of the water. The wading pool is for children
5 and under accompanied by an adult, a zero depth entry and a bubbling tower fountain to splash around. Gary C. Comer (Founder of Lands’ End) generously
contributed to the City for the Pool to be built back in 1987. In 2007, the City renamed the pool “Gary C. Comer Pool” in his honor.
