    2009

  • The Ice Wolves Youth Hockey Association’s public skating at Ley Pavilion, Dodgeville, will begin this weekend, November 21 and 22. This year, skating will be on Saturday evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm and Sunday afternoons from 2:30-5:30 pm. There will not be public skating on Friday nights. Admittance fees for each skate session will be $3.00 per Dodgeville City Resident; $4.00 per non-resident; kids 4 and under skate for free. There will also be a family price of $10.00 per family (parents and minor age children) and punch cards that will offer multiple skating sessions for reduced prices. Skate rental will be available for $2.00 per pair of skates. The Ice Wolves Youth Hockey Association will give to the City of Dodgeville money that is generated (up to $2,000) from public skate fees for their support of the Ley Pavilion Ice Rink.   • The Dodgeville Recreation Department has teamed up with Varsity Girls Head Coach, Josh Busch and Varsity Boys Head Coach, Ryan Bohnsack to present an improved winter basketball program. The Saturday morning Winter Basketball Skills & Drills Program for 2009-2010 begins December 5th. Completed registration forms must be turned in to City Hall by Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
