In the News...
- In the 2004 Presidential Election 2,335 residents of the City voted. As of October 17, 2008 only 1,988 voters were registered. Do you want to be one of the 347 people waiting in line on election day to register? If not, register early in person at City Hall, 100 E. Fountain St., Dodgeville. Construction will be beginning soon on Main St from Division Street to Diagonal Street (8/07/08). The street will be reconstructed with 12-inches of base and 3- inches of blacktop. The street width will remain the same. The curb and gutter, water main, storm sewer and sanitary sewer main will be replaced. Sidewalk and driveway aprons will also be replaced as needed.
Construction will be beginning on Elliot Street from Spring Street to Bennett Road near the end of September. The street will be regarded and storm sewer will be added.
